[CQ-Contest] The Insanity of Cut Numbers in Serial Number Contests

"NR?" promotes cut numbers. It is an abbreviation.

Sending "number?" might help.
If not, sending "the number please?" might deliver the message even better?

What I find pretty insane is sending "73" in a contest.
Both CW and SSB - makes negative sense to me.

In case of any static or whatever QSB, at least I will ask "what seven"
