So, would I be DQ'd for using Bluetooth wireless headphones and microphone
in the next SSB contest? What if I was a physically challenged fella,
bedridden and used a long wooden dowel in my mouth to tap the enter key on
the keyboard instead of my actual finger? Are infrared wireless computer
mice legal? <gasp!>

What if I wanted to watch TV in the next ARRL DX CW and used really long
cables out to my la-z-boy recliner and attached my Bencher paddles on the
end and just turned up the volume of the rig in the shack?

I see no difference at all in using really long cables, Bluetooth headsets,
UHF links, Telco lines, or an internet connection, so long as all the
transmitters , rigs, amps, etc are within the same property boundries and
they sign the proper callsign licensed for that area. (that is key here in
this argument and the sh!t disturbers darn well know it)

I am no more challenged by them all there in person at K4VV, or scattered
across the globe. When Martti Lane operates remote to the Azores, I say
"good for you!" and look forward to working him.

The anti-Internet arguments are ridiculous.

(if anything, remote operations are more challenged than being there in
person. (the nay sayers also know this)
