[CQ-Contest] Why the resistance?

Some very good people in "MAR" and DC are asking for consideration as individual mults in some contests. 

If you contest from outside those locations why do you resist their proposal?


More mults to work.  What could be bad about that?


Contest sponsors, why are you silent in this discussion?  If you have a good reason for the artificial blob called MAR, explain it to us.  If you have a good reason to consider DC to be part of MD, explain it to us.
