We have adapted to changes and introduced an 'Assisted Class' why cannot so many operators just accept and adapt to that without wishing to remain as SOAB blurring edges and stretching the envelope with their own interpretations of the rules?

I believe the likelihood of this is up there with the argument to 
preserve paper logs and dupe sheets.  Time and technology continue, and 
we adapt to the changes.
