[CQ-Contest] Rare DX all the time

Let's see, it costs a half MILLION dollars for 20 guys to go to a remote DX
location and operate for two weeks.

What is the cost of placing a remote station there that can operate 24/7
indefinitely ?

Enterprising hams could build such a station and then rent Internet remote
access to it similar to Remote Ham Radio to recover some of the costs
(along with gifts from clubs, etc.). That way, any ham can enjoy being
RARE without leaving home.

Oh gee, licensing may be an "issue," but who checks these details any
more? Or, be generous with local licensing or buy a commercial license in
some places.

Just thinking out loud. 73, Charly
