2015 was another record year for the New York QSO Party.  Competitive logs were received from 314 Ops and there were active stations from all 62 New York Counties.  There were some very big scores and the new award structure worked extremely well.

2015 was the first year that we used rigorous log checking software.  That process included some unexpected hiccups and caused a significant delay in finalizing the scores.  In the past, scores were ready for plaques to be made in March of the following year.  For 2015, it wasn't until July that we had scores in place.

On the positive side, the log adjudication process is now really good(!) and the plaque vendor is nearing completion on all the plaques.  We'll deliver the plaques to the winners between now and mid September.  NYQP plaques are truly beautiful and they look great in the shack!  I think they are the best in the business.

Please take a minute today to review the 2015 results.  Here is a link to the 2015 NYQP Final Report:

Congratulations to the Winners and All Participants!

We're grateful to NYQP's primary sponsor, the members of The Rochester DX Association, and to our fantastic Plaque Sponsorship Team.  Their strong leadership is greatly appreciated!

Please flip your calendar to October and reserve Saturday, October 15 for NYQP.  Whether mobile, M/M, portable, or single-op fixed, please plan to be on the air!

Any questions, send me a note and be sure to check the NYQP website regularly.
