And in time honored tradition, if a station has a bad signal causing
interference, let's get his or her callsign and drop them a note. If my
transmitted signal is not clean, I would want to know about it, as I'm sure
you and everyone else would too. But wait, there are modes that cannot be
decoded without a proprietary box that has a price tag with a comma in it.

I realize this is outside the scope of RM11708 but how can two hams work
out a technical issue like this where one ham can't even reasonably learn
the identity of the other? That's what I have never understood.
