Hate to continue this but postage in US actually went down early 2016 (Congress temporary cost for fuel or something actually expired and was not renewed!) and DX is now $1.15.   Though it used to be cheaper to Canada/Mexico and now all out of US is same price (that changed at previous price change).  Dan KI6X

It costs $3.50 to send a card from Denmark to the U.S., but only $1.20 to
send the same card from the U.S. to Denmark.   In fact, it is less
expensive to send a card to Copenhagen from Washington than to send a card to Copenhagen from Copenhagen itself!
