Here's an easy way.  Before you cut your RG-6, measure its
velocity factor, using the procedure in your MFJ manual.

The K2TR stub lengths were calculated using a velocity factor of
0.66.

Calculate the new lengths of K2TR stubs using your velocity
factor.

Example:
Given - your velocity factor is 0.8
Find - the corrected length of a K2TR 23 foot stub

(0.8/0.66)23 = 27.879 feet.

Thanks for all replies with ideas about RG-6 connectors.

What is the simple method to tune the stubs ???

I don´t have instruments...only an MFJ-259 antenna analyzer.

The MFJ manual said adding a 50 ohms carbon resistor in series
with the Stub...??

Should it be just below the desired frequency?
