These contests are the most popular in the world - ever!  And the future looks pretty bright.  
Only in the fevered echo chamber of a few frustrated, tormented souls can this thunderingly successful, hugely popular event be described as anything other than a proven success.  The committee may innovate how they are structured, but fiddling with the rules of this winning proposition would be madness.
Please stop the whinging!  You're being tiresome and coming off as sad.
