[CQ-Contest] plaque sponsorship

As honest sponsorship for a plaque is: How many stations not already
being regulars in a contest will enter for the first time or extend
their operation time significantly to compete for this plaque? This is
NOT to advocate easy wins or a myriad of categories. But I'm sceptic
that plaques will generate bigger general activity below the usual
plaque suspects - and am afraid that we can only continue on the
somewhat stony path of incentives for the not so big gun group. They
need not necessarily be only material. Something like livescores can
ignite competition between operators on every hardware level, like
runners sprinting between rank 83 and 84 in an everyone cross country race.
