Greetings Diddlers:

Another active session last week, with a spate of new calls. Welcome to (I believe) first timers AA9L, WB5K, KZ9V and VE2FK. That was a real boost for the mult total. N5TIT, K2AL, and KF5VRD were also back in the mix along with most of the regulars.

This upcoming weekend is a break between the Sweepstakes weekends, and it brings us a major RTTY test: WAE. With the anyone works anyone available for RTTY and the (in)famous QTCs it makes for an active 48 hours. So if you have not checked out your RTTY setup recently please join us Thursday evening and make sure everything is proper.

WARNING WILL ROBINSON!: Time change has occurred. If you have a local alarm set for the start time don’t forget to set it back an hour. It will be mighty lonely in the RTTY band segments if you show up at 0245Z…

Here’s the usual list of times, rules and extra notes for our usual Thursday soiree.

Friday, 11 Nov 2016, 0145Z - 0215Z (Thursday 10 Nov 2016 in NA)
-- 1745 - 1815 PST (NOTE!)
-- 2045 - 2115 EST
-- (others in-between those two)
-- 160: 1805 and up (Last two minutes seem to be popular…)
-- 80/40/20/15 +80kHz up from the band edge
-- Same band dupes ok after 1 intervening Q.
-- 1 kHz QSY rule, otherwise standard Sprint rules
-- Mults per band.
-- 100W power limit

Please visit http://www.ncccsprint.com/rttyns.html for complete rules
and links to other info. If you find any problems with the web pages, please
let me know so we can get them fixed.

Report scores to 3830scores.com, and join us at 0300Z on 3610 kHz (+/- a few for ongoing groups)
for comments and questions (and dinner menus).

Diddle diddle,

Ken K6MR
