Greetings Diddlers:

I hope everyone had a productive (QSO wise) weekend. Pleased to see (in case you did not catch the announcement) that the Makrothen RTTY Contest will be continued with a new sponsorship group. This weekend is another RTTY favorite: JARTS! Including a number of QSO Parties and WAG, plenty of activity for the weekend.

We had a good group last week, and 160 is starting to come alive. Welcome to first timers KF5VRD and KI8W, as well as WH6YH who was back for more!

If you need a chance to check out your RTTY setup (or you are addicted to Sprinting), please join us Thursday evening for 30 minutes of wild dial twisting.

Here’s the usual list of times, rules and extra notes for our usual Thursday soiree.

Friday, 14 Oct 2016, 0145Z - 0215Z (Thursday 13 Oct 2016 in NA)
-- 1845 - 1915 PDT
-- 2145 - 2215 EDT
-- (others in-between those two)
-- 160: 1805 and up (Last two minutes seems to be popular…)
-- 80/40/20/15 +80kHz up from the band edge
-- Same band dupes ok after 1 intervening Q.
-- 1 kHz QSY rule, otherwise standard Sprint rules
-- Mults per band.
-- 100W power limit.

Please visit http://www.ncccsprint.com/rttyns.html for complete rules
and links to other info. If you find any problems with the web pages, please
let me know so we can get them fixed.

Report scores to 3830scores.com, and join us at 0300Z on 3610 kHz
for comments and questions (and dinner menus).

Diddle diddle,

Ken K6MR
