Greetings Diddlers:

Well conditions have certainly been less than optimum, hopefully 20 will be back this week. We’re still having good turnout, but the lower bands are definitely the place to be. Welcome to first timer Tom, K6EU, who just happens to be a NCCCer. Welcome Tom (and thanks for the CA mult!)

This weekend looks to be all phone all the time with the CQ WW SSB on tap.

But hey, it’s not that difficult to change modes, so if you need some quality keyboard time please join us Thursday evening for 30 minutes of Sprinting in the keyboard mode. And you won’t wake up anyone in the house!

Here’s the usual list of times, rules and extra notes for our usual Thursday soiree.
Second warning: time change coming (except for you lucky ones in Arizona), so we’ll be moving to 1 hour earlier (local times) in the near future.

Friday, 28 Oct 2016, 0145Z - 0215Z (Thursday 27 Oct 2016 in NA)
-- 1845 - 1915 PDT
-- 2145 - 2215 EDT
-- (others in-between those two)
-- 160: 1805 and up (Last two minutes seem to be popular…)
-- 80/40/20/15 +80kHz up from the band edge
-- Same band dupes ok after 1 intervening Q.
-- 1 kHz QSY rule, otherwise standard Sprint rules
-- Mults per band.

Please visit http://www.ncccsprint.com/rttyns.html for complete rules
and links to other info. If you find any problems with the web pages, please
let me know so we can get them fixed.

Report scores to 3830scores.com, and join us at 0300Z on 3610 kHz
for comments and questions (and dinner menus).

Diddle diddle,

Ken K6MR
