Obviously it has to do with what category you enter when you submit your
log. If you operate low power and have the highest score overall, you
could enter the high power category. Similarly, if you operated single
band 40m from a location where you can work another continent 24 hours a
day at double points (not a bad choice even if you want to go for SOAB),
you don't have to enter as single band 40. D4C could submit as SOAB and
potentially win it all.
