[CQ-Contest] CQWW LCR's and log scrubbing

I lost an 80m multiplier from a Jamaican station. He was running and I was
S&P. I went back and listened to my audio recordings and without a doubt he
responded to my call, sent me his exchange. However he never acknowledged my
exchange. There is a 3 minute gap during which my QSO should have been.
Based on the log there is no reason the QSO would have been deleted or
scrubbed. No rules would have been broken as the 6Y station was a 2
transmitter station and they were clearly operating on 2 bands. I can only
put it down to operator error or station failure. I can only surmise the
operator had to go to the washroom really badly and forgot to hit enter key.
Chances are I would have been a mult for him as well.

Let's be careful about making accusations, honest mistakes or technical
problems can occur especially after 24+ hours of butt in the chair time.
However if there is truly evidence of log manipulation, well then further
investigation is warranted.

Vince - good thinking. I am pretty sure I still have my recordings from the
CQWW's on one of my computers somewhere. I'll have to sift through it this
w/e when I have time.

Course--I don't have anyone elses recordings, nor can I access all LCR's.
(and none at all at this time)

I encourage you ALL to check your LCR CQ just emailed you and see what you
lost for mults. There are 3 or 4 to cause me to go "hmmmm".

Wow...this is something.

An audio recording of the scrubbed Qs would be interesting to hear.

I made one incorrect assumption with one of my posts in that I mistakenly
believed that all the 2016 LCR's were public now.
All that are public right this moment are the logs themselves, so I have no
way of knowing who got a busted call or who has a NIL until likely the
fall.(? - not sure) LCR's lag the public logs by some amount of time I
guess. SIGH

I was ready to dive into a big power Excel session and crunch the data
(well, not really, as I barely know my way around Excel; !)

So, it will take some doing to 'prove' anything at this point in time. CQ
knows, but not the public at large.
