The Sony MDR-7506 are excellent for ham use, but if you need noise
cancelling they're definitely not for you. They have little to no isolation
from ambient room noise.

I use Sony MDR-7506 for RTTY and CW contesting. These were recommended by
K9YC. They are not noise cancelling but they are extremely comfortable and
relatively inexpensive.

I'm interested in finding a comfortable over the ear, noise cancelling
headphones for CW work.  No wireless as the batteries don't last 48 hours
for a
contest.  Don't want to spend hundreds of $$ for a pair, but don't expect to
get a pair for $30 either.

Recommendations?
