Greetings Diddlers:
Yep, it’s that time of the week already! Hope everyone had a great time this last weekend and have recovered their normal vocal abilities. Even if you are still in the recovery mode, no worries! No voice required for the weekly NS RTTY event.
Welcome to first-timer Bill, N4iQ who joined us last week with the SC multiplier. Bill has apparently joined the retired crowd and has taken up Sprinting. Welcome Bill! We’ll get you up to speed in no time. WD0T was also back with us after a notable absence. We all get the extra multiplier but Todd has yet to find another SD RTTY Sprinter ;^(
So if you’ve got 30 minutes free this Thursday evening, please join us at the (one hour later, 3rd and final warning) normal DST time.
Friday, 31 Mar 2017, 0145Z - 0215Z (Thursday 30 Mar 2017 in NA)
-- 1845 - 1915 PDT (which is 1 hour later)
-- 2145 - 2215 EDT (and this one too)
-- (others in-between those two)
-- 160: 1805 and up (Last two minutes seem to be popular…)
-- 80/40/20/15 +80kHz up from the band edge (check 20 at the start just in case)
-- Same band dupes ok after 1 intervening Q.
-- 1 kHz QSY rule, otherwise standard Sprint rules
-- Mults per band
-- 100W power limit
Please visit http://www.ncccsprint.com/rttyns.html for complete rules and links to other info. If you find any problems with the web pages, please let me know so we can get them fixed.
