Ah.  So I will instead note that the Sweepstakes rules don’t specify which calendar is to be used when determining the prescribed check.  :)

But the RS in the RST is completely subjective.  What is S9-extremely strong signals-compared to?  I choose to compare them all to the signal being sent back to Earth by Pioneer 10.

Isn't a signal report part of the required exchange in many contests?

I wonder how many folks who want accurate SS checks ever send anything other than 5NN / 59 / 599 as their signal reports in those contests.
