[CQ-Contest] Ideal monitor size

Thanks for all the opinions. I was originally thinking of a 27" monitor
(Dell U2717D), then one responder mentioned an Asus 32" monitor.  While
that looked good on "paper," it's just too big for my desk/operating
position, as are dual monitors.  So, I'm back to the Dell 27 incher as
first choice.  As I'm leaving shortly on a trip for several weeks, I'm
not rushing into buying anything.  I'll wait for Black Friday/Cyber
Monday, which isn't too far off, see what deals are out there, and keep
considering the options in the mean time.

The computer usually sets this up as a standard size monitor, but it can be configured to give much higher resolution (3840 by 2080 in the 1920 by 1040 example). This means a lot more things on the screen at the expense of smaller items (half the size depending on the resolution setting). I now have an LG 27 inch 4K monitor set up for 3840 by 2160. That gives me a lot of space for N1MM’s windows and accessories and is quite readable at that resolution.
