what voltage/power level are they?  I know one of the worst I had was a
stupid Motorola cable modem, which luckily took 12VDC

I put in a 12VDC power buss in the shop (West Mountain) and put in a nice
quiet 20 Amp 12VDC supply that has everything that needs 12VDC plugged in.
 I'm using a lot less outlets, the whole thing is going to move as one
unit if there is ever a power surge, etc
