The rules don’t say anything about the number base for the check. How about sending the check in hexadecimal to really mess folks up.
Let’s see, 1958 would be 3A… That could give us several discussions - was it a cut number, a hex number or something else???
On a more serious note, I find the use of prefills keeps me awake. I don’t trust them, so it gives me an extra boost just to see if
they happen to be correct. Amazingly, once in a while they are! Anything to keep me going during the wee hours of the morning
(or Sunday afternoon) helps.
