[CQ-Contest] New SO2R trick?

I don’t think the particular incident K3KU pointed out is SO2R (or multi-radio) related. More likely the op hit the button twice by accident, or just felt like sending his call twice.

When you are operating SO2R, or any type of operation with a lockout (one signal permitted at a time), it behooves you to keep your transmissions on the S&P radio as short and fast as possible, to allow for better flow and less dead time on your run rig.

Yes, you can operate SO2R on one band, provided you have a way of hearing through your own transmitter and not blowing up the front end. Usually, high performance receive antennas with lots of separation from the TX antenna give best results.
