[CQ-Contest] ergonomic chair for improving BIC time

I have been very pleased with an old office chair discarded by my employer. The key is that it does not have arms.

I have my keyboard on a pullout tray below the desk top, right above my lap level. With no chair arms, I can drop my shoulders in a relaxed position, rather than scrunching them up to rest on the arms. The chair, while not a recliner, has some give to the back, so I can lean back to almost a 45 degree angle.

I have enough cable length to the radio that I can pull it forward to the front edge of the desk, so it is only a few inches behind and a few inches above the keyboard.

I find this quite comfortable for extended periods. However it does not get that much use as all the good contests are in the six months that I’m hanging out in Florida :-(

They helped with adjustingchairs while I was in them (hard to do by yourself sometimes)and then let me take one home "on approval" (no deposit!)for a couple of weeks to try out.
