[CQ-Contest] 20 Meter Intruder?

Southern Nova Scotia, I think.

At one of the big remote stations in far eastern Maine, the signal is audible with QSB, but seemed less crisp than what I can hear on a dipole in CT. With QSB, it was hard to find a peak bearing -- somewhere between 90 and 210 -- but it was weak-to-almost inaudible as I spun through 315-330.

Wasn't there a problem with and experimental Canadian Forces OTH radar intruding on 160m a few years ago, from someplace near Halifax? This intruder doesn't sound like OTH -- it's a commercial/military data mode -- but if the station intruded once...

Did some tests and comparisons from other listeners this morning.

It's in the vicinity of Maine, southeastern VE2, VE9, VE1, VY2 ...

Need some local reports from these areas.

Steve, N2IC
