It would be hard to believe that an insurance company would consider that picture anything but a total loss given the simple construction and cost of repair.

Going from that check to Ed's dream would need a couple of zeros added to it I think.

Tear it completely down. Build a conference center with 2 or 3 floors of exhibit space, forum rooms, banquet halls and restaurants with 15 floors of hotel rooms (even a golf course). Flea market, CTU, forums, super suites, contest/DX/Topband dinners, and exams all in one place.  Greene County is great so far, but this would be even better. No more Crowne Plaza!
