Greetings Diddlers:

A nice double digit turnout last week. Welcome to admitted first timer KT5MR. Somehow he thought it would be difficult! Nope, we make it easy. Also welcome to KA1ULN in the QRP category. He noted conditions were not the best, which I can certainly vouch for. K6TD keeps showing up so I think we’ve found another Sprint fanatic. And the K7SV/N3QE battle continues, with K7SV pulling out a big victory last week.

The upcoming weekend has the SARTG WW RTTY test. This is one of those tests with 3 separate 8 hour periods, so you can pick one and then take a nap and do it all again! There is also the SARL RTTY test, as well as the RTTYOps Weekend Sprint. There’s also a contest on Saturday (in NA) that requires something called a Microphone. NAQP SSB test to be precise. If you can find one of those strange contraptions around the shack you might even give that a go. So plenty to keep you busy.

The details for our little get together this week to keep your diddles in tune:

Friday, 14 Aug 2020, 0145Z - 0215Z (Thursday, 13 Aug in NA)
