Greetings Diddlers,

Yes, no rest for the weary. Or those who have nothing better to do on Christmas Eve. JUST kidding :^)

We had quite the turnout last week. Most of the regulars and some occasional stations all at once. 15 reporting and I’m sure there were a couple more anyway. Welcome back to KB9S who I think has not been around lately. AC0E noticed the same thing I did only worse: the bands were dead. No one was loud and I could hardly work anyone. Seemed better near the end, but something odd indeed.

Looks like nothing in the RTTY realm this weekend other than the RTTYOps Weekend Sprint, but the following weekend (day after New Year’s Day) is the RTTY Roundup. So just a few days to make sure your diddle machine is ready to go for the big weekend. Please join us and make sure everything is tuned up and ready.

The details for our little get together this week:

Friday, 25 Dec 2020, 0145Z - 0215Z (Thursday, 24 Dec in NA)
-- 1745 - 1815 PST
-- 2045 - 2115 EST
-- (others in-between those two)

-- 80/40/20/15 +84 kHz up from the band edge <--NOTE
-- Same band dupes ok after 1 intervening Q.
-- 1 kHz QSY rule, otherwise standard Sprint rules
-- Mults per band.
