[CQ-Contest] Cut #'s in RDX

I have simpler question to Russian DXC committee:
I call CQ TEST on 14010 and IK3ITX calls me. Very loud.
We exchanged the numbers, everything seemed to be O.K. Confirmation from both sides. No QRM.
One minute later I see he spotted me on DX Cluster as VE3NZ.
Obviously, he miscopied my call.
According to RDXC rules I will receive no credit for this QSO.
What could I do to prevent this from happening?
Why should I be penalized for a QSO like that?

OK, so I can copy CW just as good as the next guy, but when signals are uber weak or there is QRM/QRN/QSB, I just abhor cut #'s.sometimes parts of #'s can be missing, but I can still figure it out. (do a "5" count, see what's left and you can still figure out a 5 is a 5 if you've heard the first 2 dits and the last 2 dits.the center element has to be a dit.
a seven might come across as a DahDahdi<cracklecrackle/QRM>dit..yup, still a seven.
One Einstein sent me a # like this on Sunday morning...I almost couldn't believe it, I had to ask him twice. (although there was no QRM, QSB or QRN he wasn't overly strong)
ATO0
that's diDah (A) (for one)
Dah (T) (for Zero)
Letter "O" for Zero again
and finally, the proper dahdahdahdahdah for the numeral Zero.
Blew my mind..I sat there for probably nearly a second saying to myself "seriously, did you really just send me that?".I don't even know how he did it.
Have I said I don't like cut #'s?
I was able to copy another speedster @ 44wpm(aprox) who sent me AENT (but only because the band was quiet..if there was anything--anything at all (QRM/QSB/QRM/QRN), I wouldn't have even bothered asking for a repeat.spin the dial Mike, spin the dial)
Mike VE9AA.I think I'll start a "Boycott cut numbers club" ;-) <tic>
