You are right - SS is going to pose problems for a new contester being a
rare mult.
The ONE thing to do would be to start running right from the start. That
way, they can start to (slowly) build a log with several hundred Q's, and
proceed at a leisurely pace during the whole contest.
When a new mult shows up on Sunday afternoon, when *everyone* if looking
for them is like getting hit with a double whammy. Being a needed mult AND
a new Q for those that already have the mult, but are looking for new
stations to work.
Granted, with increased activity, there seems to be a lot more Q's still
available on Sunday, but start running from the start of the contest would
be the best advice.
Everyone seems to want a sweep - this is the best way to make it happen for
most.
