Subject: Re: [CQ-Contest] Yamaha CM500 headphones flaking apart

I tried a friends during a contest. and Immediately purchased my first
set. Started my comparison of the Heil Pro Elite vs CM500 . I really enjoy
the CM500. So at Ebay found a new CM500 for $52.00, second set and
now the Heil are back in the box.
And that works for me.

So what causes the deterioration of the pad material and what would extend
their life.

Aloe vera, olive oil?
