Greetings Diddlers,

A bit short of the magic double digits, but still great activity. Welcome to (I think) newcomers N9AC and W4DWS who were dipping into the RTTY Sprint waters. Welcome and hope to see you printing again.

The upcoming weekend has the DRCG WW RTTY Contest. This is one of those with 3 separate 8 hour segments, and also single ops are only allowed a single transmitter. Scoring looks to be somewhat distance based with extra points for the low bands. Also uses call areas of JA, W, VE and VK call areas, so looks like an interesting weekend.

I also saw a posting that said the RTTYOps Weekend Sprint is moving to Sunday (UTC). Maybe that will stir up more activity than we had on Saturday. Check things out at www.rttyops.com<http://www.rttyops.com> .

So please join us Thursday evening and tune up the diddle machine for the weekend. Here are the details for our little weekly get together:

Friday, 11 June 2021, 0145Z - 0215Z (Thursday, 10 June 2021 in NA)
-- 1845 - 1915 PDT
-- 2145 - 2215 EDT
-- (others in-between those two)
-- 160: Around 1805 (Last two to five minutes seem to be popular…)
-- 80/40/20/15 +84 kHz up from the band edge <--NOTE
-- Same band dupes ok after 1 intervening Q.
-- 1 kHz QSY rule, otherwise standard Sprint rules
-- Mults per band.
-- 100W power limit
