How do you know that? Has someone competent measured these quantities?
Other recent (last 5 years) Yaesu products have been notorious for bad
splatter on SSB, and have been notorious for clicks for decades.

What's a "clarifier?"

A spectrum display that can't do good averaging is next to useless, and
a marketing ploy.
