That's because you don't contest from the Midwest. :) There's a reason 
why the newsletter of one of our largest contest clubs, the Society of 
Midwest Contesters, is called "The Black Hole." And there's a reason big 
guns from down the coast have been building contest stations in Maine. 
It's a human personality trait that folks with advantages either don't 
see them, don't want to admit to them, but will fight like crazy to keep 
them.
