Greetings Diddlers:

First an announcement. Due to a bunch of stuff going on at home (details of which I won't bore you with here), I'm going to be stepping away from my responsibilities attached to the Thursday evening NS RTTY. In my place, Ed Radlo, AJ6V, has graciously agreed to take my place and continue these announcements and help keep our Thursday evening sessions going. I'm not going away permanently, so I hopefully will be in and out on Thursday evenings as I can. I really want to thank Ed for accepting this responsibility, and I hope everyone will give him the same support that I have received over the years I have been doing this. It is a great group and I hope it continues for many more years.

As AJ6V noted in his 3830 comments last week, it looks like 80m is fading away for the summer. Hopefully 15 and 20 will be more active with the increased daylight and solar activity. So don't forget to check the higher bands at the start and let's get some ether warmed up with RF.

The upcoming weekend has the IG-RY (Interest Group RTTY, in case you were wondering) contest, which looks to have some pretty good activity. It also has a kind of unusual exchange and multiplier of 4 digit year of first license. So something a bit different from the usual run of the mill contests.

So fire up that diddle machine and join us Thursday evening and make sure everything is ready to tickle the ether this weekend.

The details of our little get together:
