I got my Poisson d'Avril award today. I thought this was some kind of joke, but there it was in the mailbox, big as life. Well, 4"x4" at least. I proudly showed it to my wife, who was less impressed. She's already forgotten the Panic of 2020.
I mounted it up on the shack wall alongside my other accomplishments, framed under glass with a small hammer and sign: "Break in Emergency"
I'm all set now.
Unfortunately, the people of Ukraine are not all set, so help them in any way you can. Charity Navigator lists a number of NGOs they've vetted for aid to Ukraine. There are other avenues for help, too, including personal channels via people you know. Beware of scams.
