[CQ-Contest] Hardline adapter 7/8" to 1/2"?

There's no such thing as a splice connector to connect two different 
sizes of Heliax. There used to be such a device for splicing two pieces 
of the same size, but no longer.

However, why not install a female connector on the 7/8", and a male on 
the 1/2"? You can choose between N or 7-16 DIN. I know RFI is now making 
1/2" UHF connectors, not sure about 7/8" UHF.

My choice would be to use the 7/16 DIN connectors - they are stronger 
mechanically, better electrically (especially for UHF), and 
theoretically weatherproof, though I'd highly recommend using auxiliary
weatherproofing.
