Greetings Diddlers:
Some good scores last week. Welcome to relatively new stations K0TG and WW3S, who are really getting the hang of things. And welcome back to W0YK, who seems to have had some equipment problems with the remote. I'm sure he'll get it going for next week (and the weekend we'd bet).
The upcoming weekend has the contest which we all practice for: NA Sprint RTTY! For those of you who may not have done a Real Sprint recently, remember that the new times are one hour earlier: 2300Z to 0300Z. So put a yellow sticky on the monitor. If you want to get some additional diddling before the Sprint, there is also the YB DX RTTY Test, starting Friday evening and running for 24 hours. So it does overlap a bit with the Sprint. But that does give you a little more time to make sure everything is ready for the Big One.
So if you are not sure you are ready to go for either one, please join us Thursday evening and make sure things are in tip top shape. Last chance to practice with your Sprint macros before the Real Thing!
The details of our little get together:
Friday, 11 Mar 2022, 0145Z - 0215Z (Thursday, 10 Mar 2022 in NA)

-- (others in-between those two)
-- 160: Try 1804, 1805, 1806 (Last two to five minutes seem to be popular…)
-- 80/40/20/15 +84 kHz up from the band edge
-- Same band dupes ok after 1 intervening Q.
-- 1 kHz QSY rule, otherwise standard Sprint rules
-- Mults per band.
