Or those who started at this 50 years before there were digital readouts 
of frequencies, and who used analog gear. I tune by ear -- the only 
attention I pay to frequency readout is to see where I am in the band 
with respect to the activity, and that I'm TXing in band.

The only GOOD reason I've seen raised in this thread for round number 
dial frequencies is for a multi-op wanting to make it easy to move a 
mult to a round number frequency. The rest of it is folks who don't know 
how to use their radios to find a clear spot in a busy band.
