Hey Ward,

What a nice msg - ! On behalf of the Maritime Contest Club (VO1/2,
VA1/VE1, VE9 and VY2 contesters) we thank you for your kind words and
appreciation.

We had a lot of fun in our first SS whereby NB and NS were separate mults.
Most ARRL contests have allowed this for decades, but SS and ARRL 160 always
were always "MAR" holdouts.

It's my sincere hope that anyone who's anyone that reads this message and
has ties to the ARRL will be able to get word to them so that they
understand that the results and searches on the ARRL website still list us
as MAR -and- since Jan 1, 2023, it is no longer possible to search for NB or
NS results. (we've completely disappeared from the search dropdowns as far
as CDN provinces go.)

We've done our part..

73 Ward and all..CU (all of a sudden!) in the next one !

Mike VE9AA "NB" (current President of MCC)

[CQ-Contest] Thanks to the Maritimers and Newfoundlings

I want to extend a personal thanks to all of the VE1/VE9/VO1/VO2/VY2 ops

who operated during Sweepstakes this year, either on-site or remote,

especially with respect for recent Silent Key, Gus VO1MP. You all did a

great job in putting the new sections and always-hard sections on the air

and in our logs. Very well done.

73, Ward N0AX

PS - A similar tip of the Sweepstakes cap to our VY1 and VY0 friends who,

even further north, powered through the erratic conditions to make a lot

contesters get their Clean Sweep mug orders ready.
