Sprint participants really enjoy this fast-paced short contest that leaves most of their weekend in tact. The main downside is running our of stations to work. More participants would increase the fun for everyone, so jump on in and bring others with you!
Some first-time Sprinters are intimidated by the special QSY rule but soon learn the flow and find it serves a great platform for building operating skill.
If you are frustrated not being able to break the short pileups, just find a clear frequency and call CQ. You’ll have to QSY after each QSO, but you don’t have to deal with pileup anxiety. Learning to break pileups can come later.
