[CQ-Contest] Melti Band Dipole?

There are lots of computers in my immediate area…..maybe not as many as an EOC. I have no problems with noise from them, from local generators or from solar panels.

They are easy and inexpensive to build. Try one to see if it works for you. It’s your best option, so it’s worth the effort,

Your next best option is a fan dipole and I wouldn’t wish one of those on anyone. 😡

Just make sure you have plenty of space if you go for a 160 meter version. If you want to buy one, Buckmaster makes a very robust OCF that is rated at 3kW. There are also plans in most antenna books for roll-your-own OCF dipoles.
