[CQ-Contest] CWT Virus has spread to ARRL 10M - WPX next?

It seems like there is some self-limiting effect in their use because
it's going to cause an amount of additional requests for repeat and
confusion which would likely cause the use of cut numbers without limit
to be not worth the use at the extremes. Especially as speeds go up,
signal conditions get poorer and if the sending station is running a
more modest setup.

I don't much like the cut numbers but that's simply a reflection of my
CW skill.  My solution would be to improve my CW skill if this was an
issue as their use is not prohibited.  Fortunately N1MM does a fine job
of letting me log what's copied so I don't have to do the additional
mental remapping of letter-to-numeral on the fly making it all
manageable in the practical sense.
