A couple of things to note.

Applications have not previously been carried forward from year to year.  So if you nominated someone and they were not selected, submit the application again each year.

There should be more international nominations.  The inductees mostly seem to be from USA.

Focus not just on operating skills, but also on contributions to contesting or ham radio.

As most of you know, the purpose of the HOF is to recognize individuals who have made significant contributions to amateur radio contesting (both in support of others and in personal operating achievements). In addition, candidates should be known for meaningful/measurable contributions to the hobby at large.

Please include the following information with your application:

* Name of Person Being Nominated
 * Callsign (if multiple callsigns, list most recent)
* If your nominee is still living, please supply their current contact information
* A description of this person's accomplishments/achievements and why you feel he/she should be elected to the CQ Contest Hall of Fame
* Nominating Club and Contact Information (This is only for the purpose of contacting you in case of questions, and will not be published -- see
below.)

Nominations will be accepted until March 1, 2024. You can send your responses to K1AR via email at: cqk1ar at gmail.com.

Upon receipt of all applications, each nomination will be reviewed and voted upon by the CQ Contest Directors, CQ Contest Editor and others. As usual, an  announcement and awards ceremony will take place at the Dayton Hamvention Contest Dinner on May 18, 2024.
