The online Scoreboard is the present and the future.. I can't wait for
sponsors to start compelling its use.
Without the scoreboard I would have never taken the interest I have in
Contesting. I suspect many others are the same.  I cannot fathom the
reasons people have for lurking in the shadows.
I'm proud to post my Class *before* the contest, to post my score during. I
have nothing to hide and it's very enjoyable to participate with hundreds
of others.
I forget about most contests long before the results come out.. The
scoreboard gives a real time challenge, feedback and Fun factor that could
never be achieved otherwise. Thankfully, in most major contests, the
winners are on the scoreboard and the others are inconsequential.
