Hi Hans,

Not everyone is into casual operation. Have you spent serious time on 6M 
chasing rare US grids for the very tough FFMA Award? I've been chasing 
it for 19 years, need 11 very rare ones where no one lives, and at 83, 
don't live long enough to finish. It's like at DX conventions and the 
last men standing need to be helped out of their chairs. Openings to the 
grids I need may last only 5 minutes, needing two or three hops of Es. 
VERY well equipped expeditions have gone to these places for a week or 
two and I haven't had an opening. For one that it worked, it was in the 
last hour of a week-long stand. This was to uninhabited parts of ME, and 
I'm near SF. I missed the other grid where he was for a week. And I 
missed a similarly well equipped trip to a grid on the VE border where 
no one lives. There have been years when I've had NO openings to W1. 
This is what W0MU is talking about.
