[CQ-Contest] repeating callsign - what the heck?

The inverse of this is when you (the running station) are not sure of 
the call of the caller that just called you and you send IW1? and the 
report.  And then the IW1 (or other callsign) sends your report but NOT 
his callsign.

And you say IW1 CL?  CL?  and silence.

I can't tell you how much time is wasted on NIL qso's that I have to 
remove from the log every contest because they do NOT respond with their 
callsign!

Stations calling:  If you are not prepared to make a FULL QSO and give 
your callsign when the station that you are calling requests it, then 
please do NOT call!  Do NOT assume that just because you gave your 
callsign 1, 2 or 3 times initially when you called that the running 
station that your callsign was copied correctly.  There is always qsb, 
qrm, qrn, precip static, carriers, spurs, and a raft of other rf garbage 
that can obliterate part or all of your callsign so that the run station 
did not get it cleanly.  BE PREPARED to give your callsign AGAIN when 
asked for it.  PLEASE DO NOT leave the freq. until the run station 
acknowledges the qso.

And yes, please give your callsign only ONCE when you call.  Giving it 
twice just slows everything down for everyone and qrm's the station that 
is already being worked (because they gave their callsign ONCE).
