[CQ-Contest] WWROF announces funding of 2025 projects

At our annual meeting, the Worldwide Radio Operators Foundation (WWROF) approved supporting grants for the following activities:

 

$10,000 to the Youth on the Air camp (IARU Region Two) in Denver, Colorado this summer

$25,000 matching grant to the World Radiosport Team Championship 2026 in the United Kingdom

$11,000 to the Youth on the Air camp (IARU Region One) in Jambville, France this summer

WWROF is dedicated to improving the skills of amateur radio operators around the world, utilizing education, competition, advancement of technology and scientific research, promoting international friendship and goodwill, and preparing them to better serve society in times of communication need.
