[CQ-Contest] voice keyer

I have an issue trying to get voice files setup these days. Used to be 
easy ...shift plus a F key and it worked. Now since Windows 10 and newer 
computer with Writelog Ver V12 and FTDX101MP nothing I seem to do lets 
me create some wav files. I must be missing something simple but so far 
it has escaped me. Any clue as where to look. Thanks 73's Cort K4WI
