[CQ-Contest] A bit of nostalgia

 I'm sure everyone has a similar story. I have several. Here's one.

Once in the WPX CW I worked VO4A, nice strong signal, not a standard Canadian call, but nice for WPX. I thought to myself, 'Oh, those crazy Canadians. Love 'em." (I might have used a different word but please don't cancel me and I don't want to make Canada the 51st state).

Later on other bands I ran across 4O4A and said to myself, "Oh, yeah." and fixed my log while the contest was still underway.

I myself frequently end up as A61J, again better for WPX. On phone I often end up as AB1Q, no matter whether I use Juliet or Japan. Enunciation issue, I guess. My wife says I mumble.

My antenna was a dipole.  Pretty sure rcvr was my RME-4350 (maybe the "A"
version), and that I had already upgraded the xmtr from the BC-459 to a
second-hand Viking Ranger.
